Another of the as many titles shown at Indie World Showcase was Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. This game Team Reptile (the people behind Lethal League) who was previously announced for PC, will also come to Nintendo Switch, and will go on sale at 2022 .
The game has the soundtrack of Hideki Nagamuna, Jet Set Radio composer. In this title, we will begin as a simple unknown gang but we can gain more renown in the city invading territories of the other street gangs, while we paint our Graphitis Above the competition. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk focuses on displacement through a futuristic city, and we can move by doing Parkour , or wearing skates and skateboards. We can even go from one place to another on the roofs of houses and buildings, all while we perform tricks with enough style.
In general, the title seeks to approach the fans of Jet Set Radio. With the style cel shading , the gameplay, and even the soundtrack of Hideki Nagamuna (composer of the Saga Jet Set Radio), the inspiration of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is clear.
The title will reach Nintendo Switch as exclusive temporary in consoles, but do not worry, the PC version was not canceled. If you appreciate the presentation on your indies, but you are looking for something quieter than Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, take a look at TOEM, a game completely black and white, hand-drawn.
