GOD OF WAR RAGNAROK CHAIN BLADES: LIST OF ALL SKILLS AND COLLES

The two blades chained to Rates's arms have a long history. Automatically available in God of War Ragnarök, chaos blades are much better explored on this second round of Nordic mythology and even help in resolving puzzles.

In this guide, we show the full list of all blades skills that can be purchased as you earn XP in the game. As for the necessary items to strengthen chaos blades, we will have an article about it in the future.

Chaos blades: Technique

Level 1

  • Fire whip I: Press triangle to imbue the chaos blade with flames. Carry to the maximum to perform additional attacks and strengthen the effect.
  • Burnt blow I: Press R1 during the whip of fire to cut enemies and inflict a moderate amount of burn. If the fire harness is fully charged, the attack generates a wave of flames from where you reach the ground.
  • Vaporizing ice: Melee blade attacks cause additional damage against frozen enemies.

Level 2

  • Immolation: Quickly chain several melee attacks without damage to strengthen chaos blades and inflict burn damage with each blow. Grant luck and role bonuses when active.
  • Burned Earth: Press R2 during the whip of fire to down the blade on the floor and generate an explosion of intense fire. If the fire whip is fully charged, it drives a series of small additional explosions.

Level 3

  • Furious immolation: When the immolation meter is full, press L1 + the triangle key to activate it. All melee attacks with the blades trigger explosions of fire that generate additional spartan fury for a while.
  • Burnt coup II: attacking an enemy with burnt blow during the attack greatly increases the damage caused.
  • Burned Earth II: Attacking an enemy with burnt soil during the attack greatly increases the damage caused.

Level 4

  • Burnt blow III: The wave generated by a fully loaded burnt blow is stronger and longer.

Level 5

  • Burned Earth III: The fire created by fully loaded burnt land is more powerful and more extensive.

Level 6

  • Fire Warning II: Narrow of fire can be loaded instantly by pressing the triangle button right after an attack with the chaos blades.

Chaos blades: at a distance

Level 1

  • Iberian Tug: While aiming, press R1 to impale an earthly enemy and pull it to you before overthrowing the weakest in the air. On the other hand, the enemies in the air will be released against the ground.
  • Hipion's confrontation: After impaling an enemy with Hipion's tug, hold R1 to propel himself toward enemies on the ground and inflict a stunning strengthened in impact. Enemies in the air will be thrown against the floor.
  • Flaming outeak: When aiming, press R2 to impair an enemy and light a chain. Inflict Burn Damage.
  • Flaming Explosion I: After impaling an enemy with a flaming outeak, hold R2 to direct the other blade to the target. Send an incandescent energy pulse by both currents to cause an explosion, causing massive burn damage.

Level 3

  • Hyperion II's confrontation: reaching an enemy on the ground with Hipion's confrontation generates an impact of fire that shoots sparks that cause damage to enemies behind the victim.

God

Level 4

  • Flaming explosion II: considerably increases the radius of the flaming explosion.

Chaos blades: melee

Level 1

  • Evasive Flames: When dodging, hold L3 back and press R1 to generate a sparking explosion that causes burn damage in a large area in front of you. Causes additional damage to enemies directly in front of Rates.
  • Ascending chaos: Hold R2 to move the blade up and throw the next enemies into the air.
  • Rushing Chaos: While running, press R1 with the blades to jump toward an enemy and perform a quick revolving laceration hitting several times.
  • Chaotic Furor I: Hold R1 with the blades to trigger a devastating gust of high damage against a single enemy.
  • Chaotic blow: When running, press R2 to jump into the air and perform a powerful blow with the chains that throw the weaker enemies.
  • Swivel Chaos: When dodging, hold L3 forward and press R1 to jump and perform a rotating attack, effective to send back the enemies that are falling.

Level 2

  • Chaotic Furor II: Adds an attack to chaotic furor.

Level 3

  • Chaotic Furor III: Adds a powerful final blow to the chaotic furor.

Level 4

  • Chaos Feather: A powerful final blow after a light attack. Press R1 5 times and then R2 to execute it. Causes massive damage to fire and throws enemies into the air.
