Expert discovers New Hitbox in Cod Warzone and says, That changes the meta

Chest, stomach, head, limbs - these are actually the typical hitboxes at Call of Duty and therefore IMBATTLE ROYAL WARZONE. But the developers already interpret that there are something else in between. Now the Warzone expert Anthony Truegamedata Zachman explored the details.

How long is Call of Duty: Warzone now on the market? Almost 1.5 years? Phew, so slowly in the Battle Royale every gameplay mechanism should be discovered, explored and used. But at least one mechanism recently escaped the complete understanding of the experts around Warzone: The Neck Hitbox.

Through the official patch notes we already knew that there is a neck multiplier. But nobody had bothered to examine the right hitbox. Truegamedata has now taken the time and means that the discoveries will have a significant influence on the meta. Meinmommo shows you his findings.

Neck hit box between chest and head is bigger than expected

What is this for a hitbox? The so-called neck-hit box sits between the hit boxes of chest and head. Not every weapon has its own multiplier for the neck. In the case, you caused the chest damage to neck hits.

Weapons with extra-neck damage offer a very reasonably beneficial advantage for players who land secure breast hits and not necessarily go to the harder headshots. We are binding a picture with the different hitboxes:

  • Green Hitbox: limbs
  • Yellow hitbox: abdominal damage / base damage

How To: War Thunder CDK 2021 Pt1 | Basic CDK Symbiology, Unit Placing, Movement * Red Hitbox: Breast Damage * Light Blue Hitbox: Neck damage * Blue Hitbox: Headshot damage

Truegamedata emphasizes that the colored areas are shown as exactly as possible. But testing of the areas is very difficult and smaller deviations can not be ruled out.

How to change the values in a hit? To the Neck multiplier explorer is hardly a universal statement - there is no regularity with this value except that the damage rises when a multiplier is available.

For example, the machine gun Bullfrog has no neck multiplier and OTS 9 has a multiplier on headshot level. If you meet the neck with the OTS9, this counts like a headshot. The weapon values are thereby a bit wide intransparent. Warzone gives little information about the damage of the individual weapons in his weapons blacksmith and many players inform themselves outside the game about the values of their shooting iron.

Due to the now clearly shown neck multiplier, a weapon can already have 5 different damage values in the first damage range and another 5 in the second, perhaps even in the third damage area.

You want to check the neck values, look past the homepage of Truegamedata (via truegamedata.com). The English video for the neck-hit box we bind you here:

Hitbox punch and sniper mysteries

What is there still to know? In connection with research on the neck damage, Truegamedata also discovered an interesting behavior of the Hitboxen. There is a kind of breakdown, which ensures that you always cause the highest HITBOX damage that touches the ball.

Fires bullets from the side to your enemy, then you usually get the arm of the opposing operator. However, the ball strikes through and meets the breast, maybe even the neck. In such a case, then the hitbox counts with the highest damage. If you meet the same place on the front of the front, you only get the low limb damage because the ball no other hitboxes are tangled.

Which weapons benefit from it most? A statement about a regularly can then meet - the big sniper weapons greatly benefit from the neck damage. For a long time some hits were a small mystery with Sniper in Warzone, because the hits caused more damage than they should actually. Reason was always the neck damage.

Whether from COD MW or Cold was - a neck hit caused over 200 damage and thus put enemies that only wear 2 armor plates.

  • Big sniper with neck damage
    • HDR
    • AX-50
    • Rytec AMR
    • M82
    • LW3 Tundra
    • Zrg

In addition, Truegamedata has found 3 weapons that cause headshot damage to the neck and the headbox of the head enlarge a good deal: Oden made of COD MW, as well as XM4 and OTS 9 from Cold.

More about Call of Duty:

  • More and more shooters make cheats legally and sell them as special skills
  • Warzone finally brings with Cod Vanguard what all want - Anti-Cheat & New Map
  • New update in COD Warzone launches matchmaking beta for your personal team

Truegamedata assumes that the new insights will have a significant influence on the weapon meta in Warzone. But as the neck multiplier affects itself, the next days and weeks must first show. After all, we have already played since the release, but only now there are numbers. Maybe small weapons mechanics from COD Vanguard have greater influence on the gameplay, but that remains to be seen.

Deathloop: Performance

Deathloop was published on September 14, 2021 and the title received extremely good reviews from the international press. We also had fun with the time-strapping shooter in our test, but expressed a little criticism. Despite the average very good scores, the whole thing looks a little different on Steam. Here is Deathloop (Buy Now 56.99 € / 50.99 €) Currently just under 3,000 ratings, of which 64 percent are positive, which gives the title a mixed review. Most negative evaluations give the reason the pretty bad performance of the title on the PC. Many players experience constant ruckler, which is probably due to Denuvo DRM. Also on Reddit, users complain about poor performance and, of course, there are already some memes on the subject. For example, the user Never-asked-for-this creates a contribution in which he pushes the performance bereafter on the very good-looking Hamburg. Somewhere, the whole computing power must flow away. A Bethesda spokesman responded to this post and pr...
