Kingdom Rush is a tower defense game developed by Ironhide Game Workshop and also released by Shield Gamings, launched as a cost-free flash web browser game on July 28, 2011, on the iPad on December 19, 2011, on Android in May 2013, and also a Unity port in January 2014 via Steam. A sequel, Kingdom Rush: Frontiers, was released on June 6, 2013. The 3rd installment of the franchise, Kingdom Rush: Beginnings, was launched on November 20, 2014. It was released on COMPUTER on October 18, 2018. On November 22, 2018, Ironhide Studios released a brand-new follow up, Kingdom Rush Vengeance, in which the player plays as Vez'nan's slave, helping him regain his throne. It was released for the Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2020.
Kingdom Rush: Vengeance has now got three updates. It began with the subacatic threat in February, followed by The Frozen Nightmare in May. And only yesterday a Halloween update was released with three new levels, four new opponents, a premium hero and a premium tower.
After playing this latest update, I can certainly say that it is the most satisfactory additive to the game. Continue reading why that is so.
New enemies require a new strategy
The biggest change associated with this Halloween update are the enemies. There are some that can only suffer magical damage, others who have the longer you on the map have a snowball in power, and again others that cause true damage to all defensive units.
These new types of enemies forced them to consider new builds and tactics for their defense, which is a welcome departure from the rest of the game. You can complete the majority of complete Kingdom Rush Vengeance with the same towers and heroes, but here you really have to think about how to defeat these specialized types of fines. It's a welcome change that I hope you will continue in the future.
Cards have new features
Another innovation in this Halloween update are levels with some unique features that can also change the way you play the game. Some construction sites have thorns they need to pay to eliminate them, although they grow over time. As far as I can judge, they do not prevent thorns that regrow over their towers, not that they cause damage. However, you must pay for you to remove the thorns again when you want to upgrade your towers.
The new stages in this update also contain laser towers with which they can defeat enemies. Just type on them and they work similar to mini versions of the blazing GEM tower. The only problem is that you get out of time and you have to wait to recharge it before you can use it again.
Dynamic stage properties like these add levels Kingdom Rush Vengeance That did not exist before, which is great. However, the only problem is that these things (and the new enemies) are limited only to the three new stages in this Halloween update.
Is it worth buying?
I'm not sure if this Halloween update will suddenly resell Kingdom Rush Vengeance. However, if you are on the hat due to a lack of variety or lack of content when starting the game, there is no better time to enter the game. This is the third update to Kingdom Rush Vengeance, which has added a total of nine new levels, 17 new enemies, four heroes and two towers to the game.
These are usually all the free content. The heroes and towers are premium unlocks, but what makes the experience of varied, are really the new levels and enemies. In view of the fact that the game is also available for $ 3, it is interesting to take the game more than ever.
